Description
Applications: flooring, wall cladding, kitchens, bathtubs, washbasins, tables, stairs, fireplaces, sculptures, waterjet, inlays, rugs, tiles, solid pieces, backlit, lightweight
Finishes: polished, honed, satin, claw-chiselled, grooved, bush-hammered, brushed, sandblasted, acid-etched, split-face and flamed.
Formats: blocks, solid pieces, slabs (thickness from 1 cm to 20 cm), calibrated and bevelled tiles: 305x305x10 mm, 305x610x10 mm, 610x610x10 mm and on request. 2 cm tiles cut to size, 300x300x20 mm, 600x600x20 mm, 900x900x20 mm, 600x1200x20 mm and, on request, panels in custom thicknesses and sizes.
Some alternatives include: Nero Portoro, Portoro Silver, Sahara Noir, Port Laurent.
Since 1956 Marmi di Carrara has been able to recommend the best combinations of marble, granite, onyx and stone, in terms of both colour and technical and mechanical properties, even though every single project is unique and, above all, must retain the same qualities over the years.
Our technical department is state of the art, as are our workshops, equipped for new techniques such as honeycomb panels as well as glass and the working of solid blocks for bathtubs, washbasins and sculpture. With CNC machining, every stone can be shown at its very best. What is more, every project actually begins with the selection of the bench in the quarry, of the individual block and of the slabs that will then be used.
