Marmi di Carrara Srl has been active in the stone industry since 1956, with its own or exclusive production of marble, granite, onyx and stone. Our group specialises in sourcing rare and precious materials and in supplying materials of optimum quality and price for large-scale projects and surfaces. Products are selected by our geologists at the extraction sites in the various countries of origin, where our associated companies manage production according to market demand.

Marmi di Carrara is famous worldwide for its own quarries in the Apuan Alps: Bianco Carrara, Calacatta, Statuario, Arabescato, Bardiglio

Some of our exclusive products: Verde Malachite, Giallo Siena, Botticino, Travertino Italiano Navona, Rosso Damasco, Absolute Black. All our products are inspected and tested before being placed on the market. Our exclusive materials, as well as standard ones, are used by our workshops to create prestigious projects that combine tradition and experience with the most innovative technologies.

FACILITIES

The company covers an area of 30.000 m², housing its various production areas and offices. The facilities also include all the equipment needed to manage every stage of production: heavy machinery for quarrying and transporting raw materials; a gantry crane in the yard for handling and storage; cutting machines for squaring blocks; gang saws for producing both marble and granite slabs, resin lines, bridge saws and waterjet machines to carry out any type of project. Marmi di Carrara Srl has a technical team specialised in turning any project into working drawings, either directly from the architect's drawings or developed independently.

PROCESSING

Thanks to the expertise of its technical and operational staff and experience built up over time, Marmi di Carrara specialises in high-quality work, both in supplying standard products and in creating architectural features of artistic value, handcrafted by its own sculptors. Every job is carried out according to established procedures that allow quality control throughout the production process, from optimising the raw material to the final installation test of the finished product.

DESIGN

A technical team with decades of experience optimises the design and production of each job, working in close synergy with the architectural practices responsible for the commissioned works. It is our hallmark to enrich our production by sourcing and using new and precious materials for which we hold exclusive rights, and to meet broader needs by offering optimum quality and price for projects with large surface areas.

Among our exclusive materials, architects can find every kind of colour combination as well as any physical and mechanical property required. Precision workmanship, attention to detail, elegant forms, a variety of finishes and the qualities of our marble make every space unique and distinguished.
